Family Policy Conference
of
Solidarna Polska & ECPF
European examples and policy options for support for families as investment in Europe’s future.
The ECPF and Solidarna Polska invite you warmly to participate in their joint family policy conference. The focus of this conference is at the question how government policies can support families. The conference offers the opportunity to hear from experts what European trends are and which practical policies would be supportive for families. The experts will focus at various fields like the pressure on the family, child benefits systems and the balance between work and family life.
Speakers will include:
Mr. Zbigniew Ziobro, President of Solidarna Polska.
Mr. Antoine Renard, President of FAFCE (European Federation of Catholic family organizations).
Topic: Family policies in Europe
Mr. David Wong, the ‘Relationsips Foundation’(UK).
Mr Andrzej Romanek, MP
Topic: The 'family gauge' as family policy instrument & the need for a Child benefits system
Mr. Ignacio Socias, the International Foundation for Family Development.
Mr. Tadeusz Wozniak, MP
Topic: Towards a balance between a paid job and family life
Mr. Arie de Ruiter, School director 'Corlaer College' (The Netherlands)
Ms. Beata Kempa, Vice-president of Solidarna Polska
Topic: 'Safe schools for our young people'
Both the ECPF and Solidarna Polska will present their policy proposals and papers at this conference. Solidarna Polska and ECPF see this conference as an important opportunity to get fathers and mothers and NGO’s involved in promoting family policies in Europe.
